Scarabeo 5
Eni Norway AS has been granted consent for use of the mobile facility Scarabeo 5 on Marulk in the Norwegian Sea.
The consent applies to drilling of pilot well 6507/2-N-2 H, production well 6507/2-N-2 AH, and production well 6507/2N-4 H in the Nordland II area.
The wells belong to production licence 122. The water depth in the area is approx. 367 metres.
The start-up is scheduled for September 2011. The activity will go on for approx. 196 days.
Scarabeo 5 (picture) is a mobile drilling facility built in Italy at Fincantieri Shipyards Genova, completed in 1990. It is operated by Saipem
Norwegian Branch (Saipem).
